Senator Clinton, by declaring "to not decline should the presidential nominee offer to take her as the running mate", much to the disappointment of her hard-core supporters, has displayed political maturity and wishful thinking. She has take a wise move to redress the stubborn, immature image she had acquired in the due course of the primaries and caucuses through the gamut of baseless allegations, mud slinging she indulged in to discredit her political adversary. Her perseverance till now to continue the race to the presidential nominations, even though the chances of it actually consummating were and are bleak, was commendable although one can understand its main purpose was to project her as a determined and seasoned candidate.
Her recent comments will go a long way in restoring her maligned imaged as a sane politician. A partisan who can not put her personal interests ( in this case wining the presidential nominations ) on the back burner for the greater good ( wining the presidential elections ), was " not fit to be president, anyways" . Ms Clinton has just vindicated herself of any such charges being smacked upon her in future which could have been detrimental to her aspect of being nominated Vice-President incase the Democrats win. Her demand to ask for some of her policies being endorsed by Mr. Obama is geuine and proper, after all we all know how certain policies of the Hillary camp- like universal health insurance - were better and more pragmatic that Obama's . Mr Obama should readily accept Ms. Hillary as his running mate. The synergy will be pivotal in defeating the rival republicans.
